Book Fair in Chapingo

Universidad Autónoma Chapingo is an agricultural college located in Texcoco. The university is a federally funded public institution of higher education. It offers technical and full bachelor's degrees as well as having scientific and technological research programs. Many of these programs are related to agriculture, forestry and fishing.

This fair represents one of the most important 

cultural and reading events in the region. 

In recent editions it has received more 

than one hundred thousand people, including

students, professors, researchers and the 

general public, as well as educational institutions

of all levels, who enjoy the great diversity of 

bibliographic materials that are exhibited.

In these days different activities will be carried out, such as presentations, conferences, exhibitions and children's workshops. Dozens of publishers participate in this event, as well as important presentations and book signings. 

Something that characterizes this fair, is the great row in the form of "L" of traditional food of all the states; From drowned cakes, to the "Pozol" one of the most exquisite drinks in Chiapas.

An attraction that generates intrigue, are the papantla fliers. These are people from Veracruz, who climb a tower of a considerably high height and launch themselves around it, until they reach the ground. 

And finally, there is a huge tent, where they sell "memories" of the different states of Mexico; It ranges from guitars, bows, bracelets, necklaces, etc. Even jackets and sweets.
