My trip to Michoacan- Sandra Careaga 302

My incredible trip to a magical town

Hey guys, how are you? Today I will tell you about my incredible trip to a magical town: Michoacan.
Michoacan is one of the thirty-one states that together with Mexico City form the United Mexican States. Its capital and most populated city is Morelia. It is located in the western region of the country,
bordering the north with Jalisco and Guanajuato.
My mother has gone to Michoacán two times been, but last year was my first time and it was incredible. My family and I were on vacation and we had finished our daily activities so we could enjoy a family trip, I could not say where exactly we stayed, but I have see monarch butterflies from my window in heaps.
We stayed 2 weeks and saw everything, the culture of Michoacán is very rich and varied. Gastronomy, festivities, dances and crafts are just some examples of the cultural displays of this state.
The festivities of Michoacán show the influence of the Catholic Church in this society. The day of the Virgin of the Candlemas, the Virgin of Guadalupe and the Holy Week are some of the examples of religious festivities that are celebrated in the state. I eaten white fish and it was really good, I also found many beautiful handicraft stalls such as hand-knitted backpacks, hats, rag dolls, violins, guitars, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, embroidered dresses and many michoacan souvenirs.
It was the first time I have go a church,It was also the first time I heard the rain so strong and then see a beautiful rainbow, I can only say that it was incredible, if someday you have time to go, I totally recommend the typical dishes such as red enchiladas, tacos de panza, etc. I have eaten red enchiladas and they were delicious.
I invite you to go to meet this amazing magical town and you get into their culture, I send you many greetings, thanks for reading.
