Specialist in the athletic march, was born in San Mateo Atenco on February 11, 1970, participated in the Atlanta Olympics 1996 representing Mexico in 20 kilometers walk, winning a bronze medal. After winning this bronze medal, he continued to prepare to participate in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney where he was disqualified. He has also made a political career, having been a member of the Party of the Democratic Revolution, was a candidate for municipal president of San Mateo Atenco, has also been a candidate for federal deputy for the district 27 with head in Metepec in the years 2009, 2012 and is currently a member of the National Advisory Council of MORENA.
